Search recommendations
This tutorial shows how to configure your search widget.
The EPICA predictive search widget is a powerful tool to improve your conversion rate and show products to your user. By showing products to your user, it saves them time and reduces clicks, bringing them to the best possible match based on the user's preference and store owners' goals.
In the Epica application platform, you can see several items, in order to configure the search widget, you need to click on the search button as shown in the image.
When you enter the configuration page of your search you will find two buttons:

Here you can find the general settings of the search.

With the button “Reset all” you can restore the default settings and start over.
Recommendation type
Here you can choose the type of recommendation you want for your search.
When you click on it, a menu appears where you can choose the option that best suits the needs of your store.

Complementary.
Allow sending Facebook 'Search' events
In the next switch, you can enable or disable the option of sending the search events that happen on your page to facebook where you can activate them and create audiences based on those searches.
Preferred widget placement
In this filter you will be able to select the location of your search widget to your preference, you have the option of center-left, center right, and default (which is centered.)
Show popular categories
Here you can activate or deactivate the most popular categories shown in your widget.
As you can see in the image when you deactivate the most popular categories, the app shows you the changes in real-time.
Show suggestions
In this space you can activate or deactivate the search suggestions. When you do, a search widget instantly shows you product suggestions with the search characteristics that you have selected.

Secondary items position
This item is linked to the categories, here you can change the location of the categories within the widget. The application displays it on the left side by default.
Default products view
You can choose to display your products in the form of a list.
Multi‑Currency
If your store a different currency than “USD” remember to activate the “Multi-Currency” option and use Price format to specify the order you want your price displayed.
Price format
This is one of the most important items of the widget, here you can configure the price of products to be displayed. Remember that it is very important that you keep the [] when you add something to the configuration. And also keep in mind that this configuration is solely to modify the price.
Search preferences
Enable or disable the options you want to allow in the search.
After finishing the search widget configuration, you need to enable the search widget to allow users to use the parameters you chose. Remember to always save all changes you make.
WIDGET MAIN
Here you can modify the text, background color, and text color of the search cell. It is important that the search cell is congruent with the colors of your store.
WIDGET HEADER
Here you can modify everything related to the header, including the title of your preference. You can also modify the header to "did you mean this" when your customers do a search.

Top results for "[product]"
In the "top results for" box, you can change the name of the top products of a search, remember to always write the "[]". It is also important to note that the default cell only shows the top of the products.
You can also modify the color of the "WIDGET HEADER" text as shown in the image.
With the "background" button you can only change the "WIDGET HEADER" background.
WIDGET FOOTER
This option allows you to change the "footer widget" background.
"VIEW ALL" BUTTON
When a user makes a search, the widget shows them a limited quantity of products. But it shows us a button to enable the display of all the products.
You can modify the color of the text and the background of the button.
NO PRODUCTS FOUND
In this space, you can configure the text, color, and background of the "products not found" notice.
