Understanding EPICA Platform

The dashboard is the feature where you can see everything. All the magic you have been doing with your EPICA Recommendly widget is interpreted: real-time results, comprehensive metrics and sales impact on Shopify Stores.

To help you make the most out of your widget we want you to fully understand this section.

This is what it looks like once you have clicked the feature on the left main menu.

First thing you will notice is that there is a funnel in the middle of the screen and some metrics on the right side.

Let’s start with the sales funnel. This is subdivided into four levels of data depending on the visitors level of engagement with your store. This will allow you to understand where you need to put more focus and how useful this widget for your business.

  • Total EPICA sessions: The total sessions in which your users interact with EPICA in any way (widgets or search).

  • Sessions with product clicks: When a product is clicked from search or from recommendations.

  • Sessions with add to cart: When a product is added to the shopping cart after being clicked on.

  • Sessions with purchase: When a customer adds a product to the cart and purchases it.

In case you want to go deeper on the performance of each stage you can click on each and watch the results. For the first level of Total EPICA sessions you will see the performance of each widget separately, either “Search” or “Recommender.”

  1. Total EPICA sessions during a period of time

  2. Conversion rate (total purchases from EPICA / Total EPICA session *100) during a period of time.

  3. Revenue generated by EPICA during a period of time

  4. Top Search queries with search count and % of total

  5. Top recommended products with click counts

From here, the view will change a little to focus on products, regardless of the widget that activated them.

Sessions with product clicks: (click on the second stage of the funnel in the left)

  1. Total EPICA sessions with clicks

  2. CTR Click Through Rate (clicks/total impressions*100)

  3. Product details with clicks, sessions, and CTR

The view for the next level will be the same as in Sessions with product clicks.
